Top priority trends of cooperation between the specialized committee and the American Chamber of Commerce regarding topical issues of taxation and customs policy have been discussed during the meeting.
“We highly appreciate cooperation with the American Chamber of Commerce and contribution of its experts in the development and refinement of Ukrainian legislation in the sphere of taxation and customs policy, especially of such important for the state documents as the Tax and Customs Codes,” the Chairman of the Committee Vitaliy Khomutynnik noted.
The President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine Jorge Zukoski said that experts of the Chamber will continue expressing their suggestions in regard to preparation of topical bills. Particularly, it concerns suggestions on amendments to the Tax Code aiming at reducing tax pressure and refining tax administration system.
The Parties agreed to involve Chamber’s experts to refine customs legislation.
“Our task is to ensure balance of state and business interests. In view of this, assistance of international experts is extremely important for us,” V.Khomutynnik stressed.
First Deputy Chairpersons of the Committee Oksana Prodan and Serhiy Hordiyenko,as well as Cairmen of the subcommittees Ihor Tsyrkin and Oleksandr Dolzhenkov participated in the event.
